So many of our friends got married around the same time as we did and it has been incredible to see how God has placed specific people in our lives to love and encourage us. We are surrounded by these amazing people and we are so thankful!! Recently, we got to spend time with one of our favorite married couples, Brandon and Leslie, who got married just 3 weeks after us! They cooked us a yummy dinner and then we got to sit around and catch up with eachother's lives. Some of the best times spent with people are the times when you get to just Sit and Talk and Listen. It was so refreshing and we love them so much!
Also this year, I believe God has been opening my eyes to the Godly women around me and the specific women who will be in my life forever. No matter how far apart we live or how long the time is between seeing or spending time with eachother, we will remain friends...praying for one another, encouraging one another, and sharpening one another. Proverbs 27:17 says, "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." I am thankful for the sharpening people in my life. Although at the time of being sharpened, I may not like it, I am better because of it!

I have had the honor of being friends with Becky for about 4 years. We have shared memories of living together, laughing together, crying together, praying together, relaxing together, traveling together, clebrating together, and so much more! I am excited to see what great things God has in store for each of us and also for our friendship which continually grows stronger. I am so thankful for Becky's friendship, love, and support. She has been a sharpening person in my life and I am a better person for having her as a friend.
