In 2011:
1. We celebrated our 1st Anniversary
2. I became a U.S. Citizen
3. I got a promotion at work to Administrative Assistant
4. Both of our nieces turned 1
5. We were invited to a total of 15 WEDDINGS...attended 7...and were a part of 4!! Shout out to Rachel & Stephen, Meagan & Frankie, Nic & Kira, and Brandi & Rodney...WE LOVE YOU!!
6. We went to TX twice
7. I spent my first year in the stands (not cheering or coaching) at ASU Football games
8. I turned 25...half way to 50!
9. We both trained and Ran our First Half-Marathon in Atlanta, GA
10. We attended our first Carolina Basketball Game at the Dean Dome
11. We got cable
12. I toured the Dallas Cowboys new stadium!
13. We both completed Level I of Francis Frangipane's: In Christ's Image Training (LIFE CHANGING!!)
14. We went to Ocean Isle Beach for a week with family
15. I played my first round of golf (9 holes) with the Tuckers!!
16. I took John Mark to the Dixie Classic Fair
17. We traveled to Virginia Tech, Wofford, the Citadel, Furman, and Elon with ASU Football...and of course did not miss a game all season, home or away.. AND we made it to the second round of the playoffs.
18. We spent a weekend at the beach with the coaching staff
19. I staffed my 6th CCA Nationals
20. We both got iPhones!
All in all, lots of traveling, football, celebrations, weddings, accomplishments, etc. I am so thankful for 2011 and the amazing things God allowed us to be a part of. We are blessed in so many ways and the best reminder through all of these memories is that GOD IS FAITHFUL!!
2012 started off on a Sunday and what better way to bring in the New Year, than to wake up on January 1st and head to Cornerstone Summit Church!! As we look ahead to this new year, my prayer is this:
Colossians 3:1-3
"Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God."
