Thankful for Friendships

The month of November provides us with a great opportunity to express our thankfulness and on this special day 11-11-11, it has been 140 days since our friends Meagan and Frankie were married! So... I thought this would be the perfect time to tell you all just how thankful John Mark and I are for Mr and Mrs. Frankie Lancaster.

I first met Meagan in college almost 7 years ago and from the moment I met her, I learned one thing about her that I have always admired, and that is this: Meagan will always believe the best about you and believe in you, no matter what! Over the years she has seen me at my best and also at my worst...we have lived together, cheered together, gone to church together, laughed together, cried together, been mad together, rejoiced and celebrated together, traveled together, and so much more. I am blessed to call her my "roommate" and my best friend!

Frankie, I have know for almost as long as Meagan, and I knew he would be a life long friend of ours from the moment the four of us shared our first Sunday afternoon consisting of grilled cheese, laundry, sweat pants, guitars, singing, and movies. Frankie has been an incredible friend to not only me, but also to John Mark. He is the husband of my best friend, the best friend of my husband, and not to mention our fearless Worship Leader...Needless to say, Frankie is very important to the Hamiltons!

John Mark and I were honored for Meagan and Frankie to be a part of our wedding and even more honored to both be a part of their wedding just 140 days ago. We are so thankful to call Meagan and Frankie our life-long friends and share in support, prayer, encouragement, and love for one another as we pursue God's best for our lives, marriages, and friendships.

God knew exactly what He was doing when he brought the four of us together. It has been a great journey so far, with many ups and only a few downs, but life is meant to shared with people, and that's exactly what friends are for! I thank the Lord every time I think of Meagan and Frankie and I am reminded of how blessed we are to have such incredible friends. We love you Meagan and Frankie!!
